The purpose of Ministry of Mothers Sharing is to create in mothers an awareness of the inner sacred self, while at the same time inspire, encourage, and affirm each other. Through the process of personal and spiritual growth, Mothers will bring these new strengths to their family relationships and church community.
What is MOMS?
You will share concerns, joys and positive experiences that have influenced your personal growth. The book, MOMS – A PERSONAL JOURNAL, will guide you through the nine-week session led by a team of facilitators who have already gone through the MOMS program. You will experience the support of other women as you discover the depth of your growing spirituality. Many other groups of women from St. Joseph’s and the surrounding area have already made the journey through the MOMS program. We welcome mothers of all ages to join us!
Who should join?
WOMEN with children of any age. From new mothers to grandmothers with years of experience, your input and perspective help strengthen our understanding of motherhood.
WOMEN who wish to celebrate the joy and many blessings of motherhood.
WOMEN who need a place to receive personal and spiritual nurturing.
What are the requirements?
Participants in MOMS should have the ability to fully commit to the 9-week session, keep information shared with the group confidential, support other moms, and have a desire to grow spiritually through sharing and prayer.
When does it start?
MOMS meet on Sunday evenings or Thursday mornings. We hold four sessions per year. Sessions are held in the Fall and Spring. Session dates to be announced in the weekly bulletin.
