JOIN OUR MOMS TEAM
Reflecting on your experience with moms, what was the gift you were called to share? Saint Joseph’s Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) has the following opportunities for you …Please prayerfully consider your role in helping our rapidly growing organization!

Child Care-Contact Mickie Morrison
• Volunteer positions are available to supervise and entertain children during the morning MOMS sessions, brunches and miscellaneous events.
• If you have enjoyed the support the child care area has provided for you please consider giving that gift to another mom.

Facilitators-Contact Christine Piccioni or Amy Porter
Fall session dates are scheduled to begin Sunday September 12 and Thursday September 16.
• Session facilitators (Presenter, Prayer Leader and Guardian Angel) are needed for the fall evening sessions. Facilitators will meet weekly to prepare and lead each session for 8 weeks. The evening fall session begins on September 12, 2010.
• Continuing the Journey facilitators (Presenter, Prayer Leader and Guardian Angel) are needed for a 3 hour mini-retreat sessions to be scheduled as a continuation to your MOMS 9 week sessions.
• Brunches and Coffees will need facilitators to lead chosen topic for discussion.

Trunk or Treat-Contact Laura Worster
TOT is the ONLY fundraiser for our MOMS group. Would you like to help with MOMS but do not want a year-long commitment? We still need coordinators for the following positions…please consider helping. The committee will meet in August and September, with October meetings increasing to weekly, if needed.
• Decorations Coordinator (front entrance & pizza table)
• Prizes Coordinator (will be eliminated if it is not filled).
• Safety/First Aid Coordinator
• 2 Parking Co-Coordinators
• We will also need help on the day of TOT with parking lot duty, pizza distribution and clean up. Further information will follow in October regarding these opportunities. Contact Laura Worster if you can help the Decorations Coordinator with the front entrance and pizza table.

Celebration-Contact Christine Piccioni or Amy Porter
• 2 volunteers are needed to coordinate Celebration, table hostesses, speaker and details for the event.
• This is a wonderful way to meet and welcome the new MOMS group.

Fall Festival Basket Coordinator-Contact Alicia Karolczak
This individual will collect donations, create baskets and coordinate raffles at the Fall Festival.

Hostess/Greeter-Contact Sarah Kraus
Assist with set up, refreshments, and greeting at scheduled continuation events.

Sign up Sunday -Contact Alicia Karolczak
Sign up will be held the weekend of August 28 & 29, after all masses. Just meet the other MOMS volunteers at the back of the church after a mass and introduce other mothers and grandmothers to the sign-up area.
This event happens twice per year about two weeks prior to the scheduled start of sessions. Volunteers are needed to host the information table in the back of church for all scheduled masses. Testimonials can be given, registrations will be taken. This is a big recruitment opportunity to reach out to many mothers, grandmothers in our parish that haven’t heard of, or considered taking our 8 week sessions.

We need your help to offer ideas on how to market MOMS to the parish community. We have so many social and spiritual events for everyone or just MOMS members but we need to get the word out for many to enjoy these events.
